The Police Cadet Academy.

Morning, noon and evening we have this incessant military style chanting coming from next door as young people undergo some form of training. Thank heavens each session does not last too long. After initial investigations we discovered that the building, and adjacent open space, is used for the training of young men and women aspiring to the local police force.

My investigative nature got too much for me so I climbed upon a chair in our bathroom to take a photo of their training through the open window! As you can see from the style of architecture the building is an extension of our Hotel Tres Mascaras, and I believe for most of the year it is an actual school. To find that out we will have to wait until March, that is when the school year begins for 2011.
It is quite hilarious to hear every now and then the occasional very loud, unbroken voice in amongst all the deeper voices! They train them young here.
