Another colourful procession passed by…

Just as we were settling down to lunch yesterday we heard the sound of approaching bands, in fact two bands and they sounded fantastic.

The procession was led by about twenty-five Huamangios; they were processing in honour of Our Lady of Sorrows and as you can see each carrying two or three white candles.

A smaller group of men followed and they were carrying white decorations which will be used to decorate the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows.

As you can see the bands were immaculate in their respective uniforms, their music was in tune and their marching even better.

It is to our constant amazement how public these people can be; they are totally prepared to go public when it comes to their religious, political and industrial beliefs. They are never afraid to carry a banner and march for a cause.
