Two evenings of exciting local folk dancing.

On Wednesday evening we attended the local folk dancing held in the courtyard of the ‘El Monasterió’ building.


Last night the performance was held in the ‘Centro Cultural’, the Cultural Center associated with the University of ‘San Cristobal de Huamanga’.



Both of the evenings were something to behold, although we both agreed that last night’s performance slightly outshone the performance of Wednesday night.




Both the colour of the dancers’ costumes and the actual energy of the dances combine for some wonderful entertainment for the very appreciative crowds.
